Mysteries of Life……

I am sure every one of you will agree with me that “Life really is a Mystery”…. I always wonder how do we live, I mean what are the laws which govern our lives, who or what decides the things that we face in our life…How the decisions we take today have great repercussions later in on our life…
I want to share incident which happened my office. After lunch we usually take a walk in the compound of our office. Two people were sitting nearby and one of them called us (I and my frnd) near him. He asked us what our qualifications were and my friend proudly answered that we had done our graduation in engineering and then a post graduation. He then asked about the procedures of getting into engineering and medical colleges for his children. And then he started speaking in English and that also very nicely, at least better than some of the educated people I know. After hearing him talk like that we were very surprised to know that he was a driver. My friend asked him his qualification and he replied 8th pass and that also from Hindi medium. He said that he was very sharp in his studies and wanted to become an IAS officer and had many ambitions but due to the poor financial condition of his family he had to forgo his dreams…..
I could see that if not an IAS officer he would have got a better job if only he could have completed his education. So what does this mean? Do we come into this world with a life which is already decided…the course it will take…Can’t we fight against it and change our life?
Looking at myself, I some times think why was I born in this family and not someone else was born here. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to study even though I was not much good in it… -:)). Just because I got good education and had a father who could afford to send me to school I have a better future…I am really thankful for whatever reasons that atleast I have this much.
And many times it so happens that we are disappointed when we don’t get the thing we wanted, but later on we are happy that the things which we wanted did not materialise. We realise that we are better off without it. Why did this happen??? Again the mysterious forces are at play…
So I feel that we should not be worried about life very much and take it as it comes…We just have to live life to the fullest so that later on we don’t have any regrets ….

dear sanal,
gone through ur feelings,
life/fate/etc are very confusing matters.
what is the purpose of our life?
i used to ask that question,
those who lived here even 100 years back whether rich/poor,educated/uneducated,
successful/failed all vanished
with out any marks made in our minds,
at last i discarded all thoughts about life since we don't know anything about that.
ur writing is nice, idea is nice,
keep writing.
